(Not Fake News)
Though we often disagree strenuously, I thank Ron, my third cousin – twice removed, for allowing me to post on his blog. We try to maintain civility in the family….
The issue is DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
I’ll start with equity. Now I maintain with some backup of well-known historians that Thomas Jefferson had been drinking heavily when he wrote that all men are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. What a bunch of rubbish. There is a hierarchy here on Earth and even in heaven, as the Bible clearly states, and we all know this. Let’s face the fact that some people do not deserve to pursue, much less to achieve happiness. Some unnamed relatives are among those.
One from history who did not deserve happiness is Abraham Lincoln. Take a look at history, folks. Before he was assassinated, several of his children had died… His birth mother died when he was young, and his father was never very kind to him. Same with Mark Twain. Three of his four children died before him, as well as his older and younger brothers and his wife. He was not supposed to be happy. Pursuing happiness is something he had no right to do. Case closed, enough said about that.
What about the stupid “woke” word diversity? What we need in this country is uniformity. For example, we should all wear the same uniform. Think about how that would simplify the retail business and stimulate the economy. We should have our scientists strive to make everyone the same height and have the same shoe size… Diversity is a problem that anyone can see. I ask, “why can’t everyone be the same?
You may counter that it would be difficult to know who was who if everyone was the same? The answer: everyone should be given a code name or number. That would keep everyone on their toes, too.
Finally, inclusion. Do you really believe others should be included? Do you actually think this? Think hard again, people. You know in your heart that you want only yourself to be included. This seems like a no-brainer to me. Inclusion is for you the individual…not others. Be honest, now. Others don’t matter, only you. When will everyone wake up and recognize this?
So, thanks for letting me say my piece, good wishes to All, and thank you for your support.

PS I feel comforted that the US government is now slowly beginning to see things my way.
